Sacraments
Baptism
Baptism usually takes place on the third Sunday of each month. Please call the office to make arrangements and Deacon Ray will contact you shortly thereafter. The family of the child must be registered parishioners of St. Kathryn’s Parish. At least one Godparent must be a practicing Catholic, be at least 16 years old, and have received Confirmation.
Reconciliation/Confession
Reconciliation/Confessions are heard each Saturday at 3:00 PM, Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6:30 PM, or by appointment.
First Reconciliation/Confession is scheduled each December for children in the second grade and enrolled in St. Kathryn’s religious education program.
Holy Eucharist
First Holy Eucharist
First Communion is scheduled each May for children in the second grade and enrolled in St. Kathryn’s religious education program for two consecutive years.
Communion for the Homebound
Arrangements for Communion can be made by contacting Fr. Gary through the office.
Confirmation
Confirmation
Confirmation is for high school students who have completed two years in St. Kathryn’s confirmation program. It is usually celebrated in October.
Adult Confirmation
If you are beyond high school age and would like to receive this sacrament, please call the office. This preparation program will be provided by our Christian Initiation Committee and Fr. Gary. It is usually celebrated in the Spring.
Matrimony
Couples planning their wedding are asked to contact Fr. Gary at least six (6) months in advance. The diocese requires that all couples participate in an extensive preparation program. Couples must be registered parishioners of St. Kathryn. Dates are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.
Anointing of the Sick
Arrangements for Communion can be made by contacting Fr. Gary through the office.
