The Sacrament of Confirmation is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation, by which one professes their belief in the teachings of the Catholic Church and through which one commits him or herself to living as a member of the Catholic Church.
The Sacrament of Confirmation is received by third graders in our religious education program, now that the diocese of Manchester has begun to transition to restored order of this Sacrament of Initiation (Baptism, then Confirmation and Eucharist). Adult Confirmation
If you are beyond high school age and have been baptized, received First Communion, and are practicing the Faith but have not received the sacrament of Confirmation, please call the office at 603.882.7793. This preparation program will be provided by our Christian Initiation Committee. It is usually celebrated in the Fall and Spring at Saint Joseph Cathedral in Manchester.
For adults who are enrolled in the OCI (Order of Christian Initiation) process, who will be received into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil and receive First Holy Communion at that time, Confirmation will be administered during the Easter Vigil.
